While we make every effort to provide suitable tutor recommendations, we do not guarantee a particular tutor’s availability or specific academic outcomes.
4. Tutoring Services
Tutoring may be delivered:
- Online via video conferencing platforms
- Through agreed digital learning platforms
- Through other mutually agreed methods
Tutors are responsible for preparing and delivering lessons professionally and ethically.
Students are responsible for attending scheduled sessions punctually and participating fully in lessons.
5. Payments
All tutoring fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments may be processed through approved payment providers.
Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of tutoring services.
ScholarCore Tutors reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Existing bookings already confirmed will not be affected.
6. Lesson Cancellations
Student Cancellations
Where a student wishes to cancel or reschedule a lesson:
- More than 24 hours’ notice: no cancellation fee
- Less than 24 hours’ notice: full lesson fee may be charged
- Failure to attend a scheduled lesson may be treated as a missed lesson and charged in full
Tutor Cancellations
If a tutor is unable to attend a lesson, reasonable efforts will be made to:
- Rearrange the lesson
- Provide an alternative tutor where possible
- Offer a refund where appropriate
7. Refund Policy
Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds may be offered where:
- Services have not been delivered
- Lessons are cancelled by the tutor and cannot be rescheduled
- There has been a billing error
Refunds will generally not be provided for:
- Completed tutoring sessions
- Missed lessons without appropriate notice
- Dissatisfaction arising from lack of student participation or effort
Any approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
8. Academic Integrity
ScholarCore Tutors supports learning, understanding and academic development.
Our tutors provide guidance, explanations and educational support.
Tutors will not:
- Complete assignments on behalf of students
- Sit examinations for students
- Engage in plagiarism
- Produce academic work intended for direct submission as the student’s own work
Students remain solely responsible for all submitted coursework, assignments, dissertations and examinations.
9. Safeguarding and Student Welfare
ScholarCore Tutors is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable individuals.
Where required, tutors may hold enhanced DBS checks or equivalent background screening.
Any safeguarding concerns may be reported to relevant authorities where legally required.
10. User Conduct
Users agree not to:
- Misuse the website
- Provide false information
- Harass tutors, staff or other users
- Attempt to disrupt services
- Engage in unlawful activities
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services where inappropriate conduct occurs.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant tutoring services.
